INTENTION

EARTHD is a movement to unite people for a more hopeful and sustainable future. 

We understand what it is to like to live on this Earth, across all generations and witness the beauty and the destruction and wish that things were different. We see the complexities and struggles and we know it can be different. So, we're starting the change, a change that is inclusive, adaptive and achievable. 

The intention of EARTHD is to create a network of like minded individuals who want to create positive and impactful environmental change for our Earth and all her inhabitants.

EARTHD was created by Northern Rivers profit-for-purpose organisation Santos Organics as a way to to further support, action and communicate the Mother Earth related causes that have always been at the core of their ethos. 

We know the web of people who care for our planet is wider than just our Northern Rivers bubble. So many of us want to be better, do better, make the world a better place but we also can’t just give up our careers, our jobs, our lifestyles and become activists out bush. 

So, EARTHD wants to offer a realistic solution. We want to get people back to basics - engaged, informed and involved as much or as little as is appropriate for them. We want to help people realise and even remember what they can do to be a part of helping our Earth without the tout and drama of radical activism. 

Our communities and our Earth needs more EARTHDlings all around Australia.

To do this:

EARTHD partners with other environmental and social entities to create a network of change based organisations that support each other, consumers and the planet. Within this network there will be collaborations, offers, promotions, products, events, workshops etc.

EARTHD pioneers on the ground change at a grassroots level. We’re not just about our town, our shire or our country. We’re about all of Earth. But we are aware that one cannot solve something that one does not have intimate understanding of or involvement in. So, we start local and rather than expanding to become national and global we inspire other local pop ups all around the nation and world. They can be part of the EARTHD network but they are managed and led locally thus providing for that community’s unique needs. 

EARTHD is a network of inspiration. Ambassadors and affiliates inspire by example. They exemplify what it possible and available to all of us. What they have overcome, achieved and learnt. Ambassadors are relevant to current social themes and trends and can speak to many generations and cultures due to the integrity of their approach. There are also different local ambassadors in each area that specifically exemplify the possibilities and nuances of that society.

EARTHD is a membership based program that meets members at the financial and emotional commitment they are comfortable with.
